It’s impossible to have a Nollywood throwback series without making reference to the 2002 family comedy film, Aki na Ukwa.
Played by Nigerian movie stars, Osita Iheme and Chinedu Ikedieze, and nicknamed Paw Paw and Aki respectively from the film, Aki na Ukwa launched the duo’s acting careers in the industry, marking their future collaborations in other projects.
Produced by Chukwuka Emelionwu who championed the brand character names, the film followed the story of two brothers causing complete chaos at their home, in their school and basically in their whole village.
Aki na Ukwa starred Amaechi Muonagor as the boys’ father and Frances Nsokwu and Oby Kechere in supporting roles.
