Still basking in the success of his fourth studio album Made In Lagos, Wizkid has revealed the title and release date of his fifth studio album, and may already have some new singles on the way.
30-year-old Wizkid, currently on his MIL tour took to Instagram to mark the one year anniversary of the hugely successful album. In the post, Wiz revealed his next album will drop on the last day of his current tour and that it is titled “More Love, Less Ego.”
“1 year already, thank you for riding with me. I’m just very grateful for all the love and blessings. Promised not to make you wait too long for the next one, ‘More Love Less Ego” dropping on the last day of tour. I love you.”
Wizkid will terminate his tour in January of 2022. In fact, if all things go as planned, his last appearance will be in Toronto on the 22nd of January, which means that’s when fans can start to stream “More Love, Less Ego.”
Made In Lagos had already been certified Gold twice by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), making Wizkid the first Nigerian musician to earn a RIAA Platinum certification. History!
