Nollywood Actresses, Tonto Dikeh and Mercy Aigbe, are celebrating their roles as fathers in the lives of their children today.
They both took to Instagram earlier today to honor themselves for doing a good job.
Tonto is known for being very vocal on fathers’ day since her messy divorce to ex-husband Olakunle Churchill in 2017. It still remains indelible.
“Dear life I guess you gave this job to me to mock me. But Hey, Am kicking your ass and Acing all your blows. Happy Father’s Day to ME.” The mother of one wrote.
She also went on to tutor females who play the role of fathers as well on what it takes to carry out the job.
Mercy Aigbe on the other hand is also celebrating herself for playing a dual role in the lives of her children.
Mercy, 43, and husband, Lanre Gentry got divorced in 2018 over claims of domestic violence. They both share two children, Michelle, 19 and Juwon 11.
The actress- cum- businesswoman went on to berate men who do not perform their responsibilities as fathers.
“Happy Father’s Day to me and all the responsible fathers out there! Fatherhood is beyond just impregnating a woman. If you are a man and do not perform your responsibilities towards your kids, Biko you ain’t fit to be called a Father and that’s on Period!!!!” Her caption read.
