Tonto Dikeh pays homage to late Ibidunni Ighodalo: Says she sponsored 7 women for IVF therapy in honour of the late beauty queen

Ighodalo died on June 14, 2020 after a cardiac arrest.


Nigerian actress and social media personality, Tonto Dikeh has opened up about sponsoring In vitro fertilization (IVF) therapy for seven women in honour of the late beauty queen Ibidunni Ighodalo

The 36-year-old who recently celebrated her birthday shared the information via her Instagram page on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Dikeh who is a mother of one, revealed how she fell in love with Ibidun, adding that Ibidun was one of those people who tried to reach out to her during her difficult times.

“I only knew you at/in your death, I wondered why everyone seemed so sad n mourned you publicly. My first thought WHO IS SHE, I did the girly thing..slide into your page, watched your beautiful life. Took a stroll to your DM and I fell in love with you immediately,” she wrote.

“You tired to reach out as a support and pillar IN MY TRYING TIMES. You were one of the only people who tried to help me and you didn’t even know me. In your honour last year I gave seven women IVF treatment to celebrate you in private.”

“Am grateful for the love you wanted to give me…KEEP RESTING IN PEACE MA’AM.”

Ighodalo died on June 14, 2020, following a cardiac arrest, at the age of 39. She was a beauty queen, an event management expert, a philanthropist, and a co-pastor of Trinity House Church, in Lagos Nigeria. She is the founder of Elizabeth R, a public relation and Events Company; and Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, a non-profit organization that is focused on supporting families with infertility challenges.
