Davido shut down the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, UAE, selling out the venue during the Afro World concert a couple of days ago.
As we near the release of his fifth studio album, the singer has been jet-setting, touching down the likes of Atlanta, DC, and North Carolina while planning a summer tour of the US and Canada.
With many collaborators, connections, and friends stateside, Davido has a strong influence and huge fan base abroad, and Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, Tory Lanez thought to remind people of that via an Instagram story he posted on June 12.
Lanez gushed over an excited Davido in the video as the Canadian called him one of the greatest artists in the world. Check out the clip in the IG post below.
Davido has already began the gradual roll out of his upcoming album with the release of a new single Stand Strong featuring The Samples.
Although the project’s title is still unconfirmed as well as its release date, his summer tour of North America is titled We Rise By Lifting Others. And while that could also prove the title of the forthcoming album, we expect the project to drop before the tour begins.
