Trailer: Halle Berry’s ‘Bruised’(Netflix)

The official trailer for Halle Berry’s forthcoming film Bruised has debuted on Netflix. The mixed martial arts drama had it’s world premiere at the 2020 Toronto Film Festival. It stars Berry in lead role and equally marks her directorial debut.

Produced by Basil Iwanyk, the film tells the story of Jackie Justice, a now disgraced MMA fighter who agrees to a brutal underground fight in order to win her way back into spotlight, all while attempting to wrestle with her inner demons and reconcile with her son Manny whom she abandoned years before.

The trailer features the Academy award-winning actress bruised and bloodied, as she struggles to lift herself from the mat after a devastating defeat.
And according to reports earlier in the year, she allegedly broke two ribs in the process of filming.

Bruised would be available on Netflix from November 24th.
