American rapper Soulja Boy has threatened to kill Wizkid, after a fan referenced a sentiment once held by the Nigerian singer that the raapper is wack.
Following confirmation that Wizkid will feature as one of the headline stars at the upcoming maiden Rolling Loud Germany, with Soulja Boy as backup, a fan resurrected a debate that started last year after fans dug up a tweet Wizkid made referring to the ‘Kiss Me Thru The Phone’ rapper as wack.
The fan’s tweet got the attention of the Soulja Boy, who did not take it lightly. He replied the tweet and called Wizkid a ‘pussy’, while suggesting he would track and beat up any FC member who tries to disrespect him. Soulja also threatened to pull out of the show, telling organizers to remove him from the lineup of Rolling Loud Germany. But he wasn’t quite done. Moments later, he returned with another tweet saying he was done tweeting and that “we gone kill that ni**a.”
In case you missed it, last year, in an interview with British style magazine 10+, Wizkid revealed he doesn’t listen to rap music any longer, called it boring, and said the genre was ‘dead’ to him. It heavily divided opinions amongst fans, and that was when they dug up a tweet he made in 2010 concerning Soulja Boy.
No one knows if this was just an antic from Soulja Boy, but fans have condemned his behavior. Some said it is reckless and dangerous, while others urged Wizkid’s fans to stop earning him new enemies, especially amid the rampant assassination of musicians around the world and Wizkid’s MLLE tour in the US this year.
