‘Venom 3’ and ‘Ghostbusters 5’ are coming.
Following the moderately financial successes of Venom: Let Their Be Carnage and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Sony Pictures has greenlit new installments for both franchises. ‘Venom 3’ and ‘Ghostbusters 5’ are officially coming.
The announcement was made at CinemaCon, an industry event run by the National Association of Theatre Owners, currently taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sony owns the rights to both franchise and didn’t hesitate to break the news to the gathering of teeming fans from around the world at The Sony CinemaCon panel.
No release date has been set for both ‘Venom 3’ and ‘Ghostbusters 5’.
Other Sony Marvel projects on the way include Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter, and Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web.
