Reports coming in is that the Vice President’s chopper crashed in Kogi during a campaign tour if the state.
The Vice President’s aide, Laolu Akande, confirmed the incident and said that everyone is okay and unscathed.
Recently, the former spokesman of All Progress Congress (APC), Timi Frank, attacked the Vice President for not speaking up against the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Onnoghen Walter who was suspended by President Buhari on the 25th of January, 2019 on allegations that he failed to declare his assests.
He also also called on the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, to sanction Osibanjo.
Obasanjo and Osibanjo
Former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, also criticized the Vice President for going to markets across the country, sharing money to traders.
The N10,000 disbursement to traders was done by Osibanjo as part of Federal Government’s TraderMoni Initiative.
What an act by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria lawyer, number 2 man in the Executive hierarchy; and what is more, a pastor of one of the Christian movements led by a revered, respected and upright church leader, Pastor E. A. Adeboye. Osinbajo must have gone for, “if you can’t beat them, join them”.
He aslo went ahead to say that Osibanjo has proven the saying that corruption of the best is the worst form of corruption and that Osibanjo has shown the human weakness.
His explanation that it was their government programme can only be construed to be very shallow and lopsided.”
