After facing significant backlash from fans for mouthing the words “all power belongs to your bum-bum” in All Power, one of the songs in his latest EP, Victony is ready to move onto the next.

The singer shared a tweet on Sunday, July 10, saying “All power belongs to God.” he also dropped a snippet of an upcoming song the next day. Although he mentioned bum-bum, Victony said it would be the last time he does so.

Trust Nigerians to manage to make almost anything about religion, indeed it’s one of their super powers. And expect their moral compass to come in full use once they sense an opportunity.

Victony had been especially criticised for his flattery of bum-bum in All Power following his narrow escape from a ghastly motor accident which claimed the life of his friends and left him (Victony) in a wheel chair for months. His Outlaw released several months after the incident, and was the ‘Kolomental’ singer’s first project since recovering.

Check out the snippet of the new song below.
