Wande Coal’s 2009 debut album ‘Mushin 2 Mo’Hits’ is now available to stream on digital platforms

Afrobeats icon and multi-award-winning artist Wande Coal on Friday, 21st October 2022 revealed via his Twitter account that his debut album “Mushin 2 Mo’Hits” is now available for streaming on digital platforms.

“Mushin 2 Mo’hits” is the self-acclaimed Black Diamond’s debut album. It released way back in 2009 under Don Jazzy’s Mo’hits Records, the label with whom he launched his illustrious career.

The 16-track album delivered several hits including Afrobeats classics like “Bumper 2 Bumper,” “You Bad” feat. D’Banj, “Say Na Like This,” “Banana,” “Taboo,” “Olulufe,” and “Ten Ten.”

With “Mushin 2 Mo’Hits,” Coal bagged 5 awards at the 2010 Headies Awards. The album won Album of the Year, Song of the Year, R&B/Pop Album of the Year, and Pop Single of the Year. Additionally, the “Iskaba” singer won the Artist of the Year, in what was a record-breaking night for him.

13 years on and it is regarded as an Afrobeats pantheon, a cult classic widely viewed by critics alike as the best debut album in the history of the genre.
