With all the goodwill it’s been enjoying at the Nigeria box office and international streaming services, it’s almost impossible to believe that Play Network Studios has only been in service for barely three years. Within that short time, the film studio led by Charles Okpaleke (aka Charles of Play) has released five movies based on famed Nollywood classics and swept home countless awards.
Although most of these five movies have been panned hard by critics and the general audience, it doesn’t look like Play Network Studios is slowing down anytime soon as it recently announced another movie about the Nigerian Airways plane hijack of October 25, 1993, which saw four Nigerian young men commandeer a Nigerian Airways airplane en route Abuja from Lagos, forcing its pilots to land in Niger republic.
Before Hijack 93: The Mad Men And The Air Craft arrives, let’s dive into the arms of history. Here are all the Play Network Studios movies out; most are already out for streaming.
