Watch Davido perform for the first time since son’s death at the World Cup closing ceremony

We are so happy to see Davido back and making public appearances since the tragic loss of his 3-year-old son Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The megastar made his official public return during the weekend, flying to Qatar to participate in the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony.

Davido alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA was on hand to perform their FIFA World Cup Qatar official soundtrack Hayya Hayya (Better Together) at the closing ceremony in Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

The closing ceremony happened just before Argentina and France took to the field for game 64 in Qatar 2022 and the World Cup final, an exhilarating final which played out to a 3-3 draw after extra time. The match ended 4-2 on penalties and Argentina went on to claim their third World Cup title.
