Rema released the music video for Are You There on May 5. Are You There is the 11th track on the singer’s debut studio album Rave and Roses.
It is one of the rather more conscious records on Rave and Roses with Rema flexing his lyrical skills, talking about the ills in his home country Nigeria.
The music video for Are You There is directed by on-fire director TG Omori, who’s artistic expression of the song is near perfect.

Rema portrays the outlaw who wouldn’t give in to police oppression and brutality, as he looks to inspire more people to be like him.
The video also shows the massive divide between Nigeria’s upper-class (mostly politicians) and lower-class, as they celebrate and lavish money while the masses suffer in penury.
This would be the 4th out of a possible 16 songs to have a music video via Rave and Roses, after Soundgasm, FYN, and Calm Down.
