Wizkid took the More Love, Less Ego party from Apple Music Live to New York on Wednesday, November 16. The Afrobeats icon performed at the prestigious Madison Square Garden in the Manhattan borough of The Big Apple.

Afrobeats lovers numbered in tens of thousands graced the occasion, with son of the soil Busta Rhymes as well as several other celebrities spotted among the audience. In one particular clip that’s making the rounds on social media, Busta and Wiz linked up backstage and it seems a friendship is about to begin.

During the show, Wizkid’s personal DJ, DJ Tunez played classic Afrobeats song Dami Duro by Davido, and it proved an iconic moment, with singer yet to make an appearance since the loss of his three year old boy Ifeanyi David Adeleke last month.
