Watch the official trailer for Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Tenant of the House’

Tenant of the House will debut in cinemas from June 25 2021.

Nigerian film distribution company, Blue Pictures has premiered the official trailer for the upcoming Nigerian political drama Tenant of the House ahead of its June 25, 2021 release in cinemas.

Tenant of the House was inspired by true-life events and follows a patriotic lawmaker, a.k.a. The Patriot, who is adamant on using his position in the House to settle the heating conflict between the Fulani Herdsmen and locals, whose major occupation is farming. His plan is to sponsor a bill in the Green Chamber. Catch the trailer below:

The story was created by Wale Okediran (also credited as the producer) and adapted for screens by Tunde Babalola.

Tenant of the House stars Yakubu Mohammed, Joselyn Dumas, Dele Adule, Saeed Funkymallam, Chris Iheuwa, Umar Gombe, Rashida Labbo, Abiola Ogunmowo and Deihler Musa.

Directed by legendary Nollywood director Kunle Afolayan, the film had by Kunle ‘Nodash’ Adejuyigbe on camera duties while production designer, Pat Nebo is also credited as Art director.
