Stephanie Coker Aderinokun, a PCOS survivor, has made it her mission to educate people about PCOS.
The docu-movie is produced by Coker and directed by Michael ‘AMA Psalmist’ Akinrogunde. It features interviews and opinions from gynecologists, religious leaders, public figures, and native African doctors, among other experts.
About Where The Heck is My Period, Stephanie Coker had this to say:
“As someone living with PCOS since age 16 and being put on medication such as the contraceptive pill. I wanted to shed more light and educate people about this incurable disorder and hopefully help young girls going through the same issues.”
’Where The Heck is My Period?’ will soon premiere at the Africa International Film Festival 2022 (AFRIFF).
