Timaya has shared the music video for his latest single Sweet Us, shot by the brilliant TG Omori. The cinematic music video begins with Timaya wrecking a cake piped with the title of his new song. A few minutes into the video, he parades the streets in a green sleeveless top, paired with black baggy sweatpants. He’s surrounded by choreographers, Lagos yellow buses, and bikes. The choreographers display some wicked dance moves to the rhythm of the song.
Sweet Us has been making waves since its release on Friday, November 11. Fans have fallen in love with the lyrics of the song’s feel-good chorus “as e dey sweet us…e go dey pain dem.”
