Warner Bros Pictures have released the first official trailer for the long anticipated 3rd film in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts. Starring Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) and Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore), this new instalment is titled Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
There’s a new villain joining the cast, with Mads Mikkelsen replacing Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. The move originally split opinions among fans, but after getting a glimpse of Mikkelsen’s signature hardcore, no-joy look, the fears of the actor not fitting to the role like Depp may have been allayed.
So much was talked about the powerful Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry headmaster, Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter books and movies. Asides from the infamous ‘he-who-must-not-be-named, and Harry Potter himself, every other thing at Hogwarts pretty much revolved around the great professor. However, this movie will give Harry Potter fans more insight into the early and the formation years of the legendary Dumbledore.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore hits theatres on April 2022 but first, watch the trailer below.
