A video of Nigerian superstar, Wizkid appreciating fast-rising Nigerian Highlife Fusion group, The Cavemen by spraying them money while they were performing to a live audience in Ghana, has surfaced Instagram on June 6, 2020.
In the video which was posted via the official Instagram account of The Cavemen, a smiling Wizkid appeared from the back, sporting a round neck T-shirt and a green face cap as he slapped some hard currency on the brothers while they were serenading the audience.
The Cavemen is a Lagos based ‘Afrocentric influenced’ band founded by brothers Kingsley Okorie and Benjamin James. Together, they invented their own sound, and refer to the genre as Highlife Fusion. Highlife Fusion combines afrobeat, highlife, jazz and soul music.
After his cameo on stage, Wizkid also met the duo backstage. Check out the video below.
Could there be a collaboration Wizzy and The Cavemen? We hope so.
