There’s a lot of content coming to cinemas and streaming services this weekend, and if you’re looking to spend your weekend in front of a screen, this one’s for you.


Hey, it’s that time of the week again to take some time off work. If your plan is to do so by snacking or cuddling up in front of a screen then you’re in luck because we’ve got some really hot info on the latest, hottest, yet coolest movies and TV shows for your viewing pleasure this weekend. Within the week, we dropped trailers of some blockbuster upcoming movies including Marvel’s Eternals, Lena Headey’s Gun Powder Milkshake, Escape Room 2: Tournament of Champions, and more.

1. Cruella

Cruella is finally available in cinemas and for streaming on Disney+. Disney brings a backstory movie about their 101 Dalmatians villain, Cruella De Vil to live action. It stars Emma Stone as teenage Cruella (Estella). Estella dreams of becoming a fashion designer but seems to always run out of luck. However, she soon finds herself exactly where she wants to be when she is commissioned by a rock star to create a signature look for them. But while doing so, she discovers that the life she always dreamed of may come at a cost; she also must decide if it’s everything she hoped for.

2. A Quiet Place 2 (Movie)

A Quiet Place Part 2 is now available in cinemas. It is a sequel to the 2019 movie. Evelyn Abbott and her family must continue their fight for survival, this time, outdoors. While they are familiar with the creatures that may hunt by sound, they soon realize that these creatures are not the only ones they should be worried about.
Starring: Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds, and Cillian Murphy.

3. Plan B (Movie)

Plan B is a Hulu original comedy drama that stars Victoria Moroles and Kuhoo Verma as Sunny and Lupe respectively. Both friends have 24 hours to track down a Plan B pill following Sunny’s regretful first sexual encounter. Plan B is exclusive to Hulu subscribers.

4. Army of the Dead

We’ve included this just in case you missed it. Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead arrived Netflix last weekend. Zombies, guns, estranged father and daughter, betrayal, a grand heist, explosions, wickedly choreographed fight sequences; Army of the Dead has it all. 5. Friends Reunion (TV Show)


The TV shows that defined most of our friendships and romance fantasies. Only people subscribed to HBO MAX can watch Friends Reunion. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and special guests reunite to discuss everything from their casting process to whether or not Ross and Rachel were really on a break. 6. Lucifer Season 5 Part B (TV Show)


Lucifer Season 5 Part B has finally opened for streaming on Netflix. The Kevin Alejandro directed series The series revolves around the story of Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub named ‘LUX’ and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. Perhaps you might want to start the series if you hadn’t.

7. Panic (TV Show)


We brought you news of Amazon acquiring legendary Hollywood studio MGM for $8.45 billion in midweek. Well, Panic is an Amazon Prime Video original that focuses on the lives of adolescents, teenagers and young adults. Panis was created and written by Lauren Oliver based on her 2014 novel of the same name. Exclusive to Amazon Prime Video Subscribers.
