What Olamide Album Has Stood Out For You?

YBNL boss, Olamide Adedeji, is without an iota of doubt one of the best artistes in Nigeria.

Olamide has always been consistent since the days he stepped into Limelight. He is well known for an annual ritual of an album every year and has been consistent with it over the past decade.

We take a look back at all his ten albums so far. To begin, his debut album was called Rapsodi and it contained 16 tracks. “Eni Duro” arguably the hottest of them all. This album dropped in 2011.

YBNL (Yahoo Boy No Laptop) was the second studio album Olamide put out. It was one of Olamide’s biggest albums with 20 songs in it. Hot on its heels was Baddest Guy Ever Liveth in 2013 featuring hit track “Durosoke”. This album contained 21 songs and was Olamide’s 3rd studio album

Street OT was released in 2014. It was Olamide’s 4th studio album released in 2014 and had 22 songs on it. He collaborated with MAVIN heavyweight Don Jazzy to produce Skelemba.

In 2015, the album released marked the beginning of a collaboration between Olamide and Phyno and ever since they have maintained a relationship till now as they combined to create 2 Kings.

Also in 2015 Olamide released Eyan Mayweather. This was Olamide’s 5th studio album and contained 21 songs including fan favourite “Say Something”.

In 2016, Olamide released The Glory with 14 songs in it. It wasn’t as hip as his previous work. Lagos Nawa was released in 2017 featuring hit track “Wo” in a 17 tracklist album.

In 2018, Olamide added new acts to the YBNL family and they blessed us with Mafia Family. He collaborated with Kiss Daniel and other acts to produce hit song “Send her money”

Olamide is yet to give a hint of any album in 2019 but we know he will still release an album hopefully towards the end of the year and we highly anticipate an album from the king of the streets.
