Deyemi Okanlawon is one of the hardest-working actors in Nollywood today. Off the top of my head, you can find the actor in 3 out of every 5 Nigerian blockbusters newly announced. Another thing the actor is well-known for is dying onscreen. This year alone, I can easily count two of his most popular characters we;ve watched die.

A curious fan took it to himself to enquire from the actor, on Twitter, why he keeps dying onscreen, and Deyemi Okanlawon had the most hilarious response:

“Bruh e fit be say na budget cause am o! If I bill you my daily rate you fit wan kee me for real life! 😂”

As hilarious as his response sounds, there’s a clear message there. Okanlawon is well-known for his good looks and top delivery of his roles. It’s only fitting that his rate card continues to rise as his popularity does.
