Will Smith, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud are premiering their highly anticipated live-action Aladdin in London, United Kingdom. It’s the second of 2019’s live-action remakes from Disney in a year that sees Dumbo, The Lion King, Lady And The Tramp and Aladdin brought to life.
And on Thursday night, Aladdin premiered in London’s Leicester Square, with stars Will Smith, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud all taking to the ‘magic carpet’ for the movie’s European debut at the Odeon Luxe.
Massoud takes on the titular role of the poverty-stricken ‘street rat’ who happens upon a magic lamp, conjures up a genie [Smith] and wins the heart of Princess Jasmine [Scott]. Guy Ritchie was also in attendance, having directed the film.
The three stars joined co-star Marwen Kenzari and director Guy Ritchie at the event, held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Thursday (May 9). Guy was joined by his wife, Jacqui, at the event. Naomi was joined by her husband, Jordan Spence.
