Nigerian Afrobeats icon Wizkid has been nominated for the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Wiz is up for the Global Music Star award.

Nickelodeon, the giant American television franchise announced the nominees for the annual highly-coveted Kids Choice Awards on Tuesday, January 31, confirming that the main event will take place on Saturday, March 4 and will be hosted by Nate Burleson and Charli D’Amelio.

The Global Music Star category is a regional category, and Wizkid represents the whole of Africa. He will go toe to toe with Taylor Swift (North America), Bad Bunny(Latin America), Harry Styles(UK), Rosalia(Europe), Tones And I(Australia), and Blackpink(Asia).
