Wizkid shared his 13-track fifth studio album More Love Less Ego (MLLE) on Friday, 11th November– his first project since the impressive almighty Made In Lagos. More Love Less Ego had been subject to multiple delays, including the most recent one that pushed back its release by one week.
The 13 tracks last a combined 41-minutes, with guest appearances from Ayra Starr, Skepta, Naira Marley, Skillibeng, Shenseea, and Don Toliver. Lead single Money & Love is the first track on the album followed by Balance, before the impressive Amapiano-inspired Bad To Me which began the album’s official rollout.
Track number 4, 2 Sugar features Ayra Starr and is followed by the no-feature Everyday. On Track number 6, Jamaican dancehall heavyweights, Skillibeng and Shenseea lend their talents to Slip N Slide. Deep and Flower Pads, tracks number 7 and 8 respectively, make way for, perhaps the biggest collaboration on the album, with the tripple threat of Skepta, Naira Marley, and Wiz on Wow.
Wizkid remains the sole master of ceremony on the next two tracks– Pressure and Plenty Loving, before combining with Don Toliver on 3-mins-23-secs long Special. MLLE eventually ends with the aching anthem-like Frame (Who’s Gonna Know).
Earlier last month, Wiz performed the then unreleased album in front of a select crowd courtesy of Apple Music; from Monday, November 14, fans will be able to stream that performance on the music platform.
