Wizkid performed songs from his unreleased fifth studio album More Love Less Ego (MLLE) last night at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event, hosted by Apple Music, saw the Nigerian megastar preview the records on the upcoming album live to a selected crowd that included other musicians, journalists, executives, and fans.
Attendees were instructed not to use their mobile phones to prevent leakers, as every detail concerning the project is still under wrap, including track listing and release date. However, Wiz did drop a single Bad To Me a couple of weeks ago, a track we think is the lead single off the forthcoming MLLE.
Sources are saying there are a lot of high-profile features on the album. Back in July, Wizkid did tease that Skepta, Ayra Starr, Naira Marley, Travis Scott, Ty Dollar $ign, and BNXN fka Buju will all be on the album.
Testimonies from who attended the mini concerted suggest fans will be in for a treat when MLLE eventually drops. The mini-concert though is an indication that the album is close, could even be next month, not forgetting that Wizkid’s last project- the hugely successful Mad In Lagos– dropping in October of 2020. Similar pattern could follow with MLLE.
Meanwhile check out the tweets below to see what fans are saying about the concert and MLLE.
