Wizkid has pushed back his More Love Less Ego Tour of North America (US & Canada). The singer shared the news via an Instagram story on Thursday, March 2. The tour was originally slated to kick off on Friday, 3rd March in Houston, Texas, but it will now commence in Fall this year, sometime around late September.
Wiz cited ‘logistical circumstances’ as the reason for postponing the concerts. However, tickets from the old dates are still valid, and new dates will be issued, whilst venues remain unchanged.
Back in January, Wizkid teased a joint tour with fellow Afrobeats giant Davido, sharing that the two would hit the road together once his More Love Less Ego tour is concluded. It’s now hard to see how that will still happen this year after this latest development.
In case you missed it, the multi-award-winner is also billed to tour Europe this year, with the stage set for a historic stadium concert at the recently built Tottenham Hot Spur Stadium in London, England on the 29th of July. Tickets for that grand tour are still on sale while the date remains unchanged.
