Wizkid will be performing in Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands on a soon-to-be-announced day. The Afropop sensation will headline a concert organised by BonBon entertainment, at the Ziggo Dome. It will be his first show at the dome, one of the Netherland’s most iconic event centres.
Having previously performed in Amsterdam, Wiz posted a promotional material of the concert on his Twitter page on Wednesday, July 20 with the caption: “Amsterdam, I’m coming back for the Ziggo Dome. Pre-register now via http://bonbonentertainment.com/wizkid for the date & tickets! 🖤🦅🇳🇱.”
Burna Boy is the only other Nigerian and African artist to headline a show at the Ziggo Dome, after he packed the sold-out venue in one of his high-profile concerts earlier this year. As a result, Burna was presented an award.
Just like Burna, Wiz will be hoping to sell out the arena as well. Other artists are also expected to join him, and will be announced in the coming days.
