Nigerian singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has responded to a concerned tweep who advised her to collaborate with other female Nigerian artistes, especially Tiwa Savage.
According to the Twitter user, the music industry is “male dominated and barely gives room for females to thrive”. He added that the collaborations will help boost their various careers.

Alade on the other hand was not in support of his advise and responded with “Oshey ! lucozade boost . Path finder! Career coach! Feminist! Torch bearer of female musicians ! Counsellor! Oya rest ! 2022 just started! Don’t give me work!”
Alade has previously collaborated with only two female artists. With Beninese singer, Angélique Kidjo on her hot track, “Shekere” and on Seyi Shay’s single, “Pempe”.
