Comedian and writer, Bovi, has called out Nollywood director, Niyi Akinmolayan, describing him as an “egotistic clout chaser”
According to Bovi, the call-out is as a result of the director promoting the movie after he deliberately refused to identify with it since it’s release.
Recall, the comedian recently released his movie, “My Village People” which was directed by Akinmolayan.
However, in a lengthy post put up on his Instagram story, Bovi accused the director of attempting to shut down his set during their shoot following a disagreement about the movie script.
After the said disagreement, Bovi claimed the approach to making the movie became ‘lame’ and ‘deliberately mediocre.’ He also went on to explain how he was told to ignore Akinmolayan and focus on completing the project.
“Dude is just hype. Theoretically informed but practically inept.” The father of three wrote describing Akinmolayan. He further blasted him for only coming out to identify with the movie because it is doing ‘favorably well.’
