Netflix’s premier African reality show ‘Young Famous & African’ has been given the green light for a second season by the streaming service.

The show’s co-creator Peace Hyde shared the news confirming the shows renewal on her Instagram;

“The Love for ‘YOUNG, FAMOUS & AFRICAN’ Africa’s first @Netflix unscripted original series has been incredible! Thank you to each and everyone of you all for the love and support. Well it’s official! Season 2 of #YOUNGFAMOUSANDAFRICAN is coming!”

Young Famous & African’s seven-episode first season was received positively by subscribers of the streaming service with many tuning in to get a peek into the private lives of some of African’s A-list entertainers.

Set in Johannesburg South Africa, the show features the likes of Khanyi Mbau, 2Baba, Annie Macauly-Idibia, Diamond Platinumz, Zari Hassan amongst others.

There is no announcement for the release date of the second season as of now.
